Severe Seasonal Allergies
Ever since I was little, I have had seasonal allergies.  My symptoms were terrible including extremely watery, itchy eyes, stuffy, runny nose, itchy ears, itchy upper palate and always feeling so tired.  I rubbed my eyes so hard that my eyes looked black and blood shot.  I have been on and off all sorts of prescription drugs to help with the allergy symptoms.  There was never a drug that truly helped me, most often I never even felt a significant change.  About two years ago, I decided to go to the allergist and find out what I could do for my allergies.  The allergist was amazed at how terrible my allergies were!  He gave me some more prescription drugs and once again, no relief.  I was always uncomfortable taking prescription drugs and since nothing was working, I just decided that I would just have to suffer through the seasons of allergies.

Jodi made a couple of recommendations and we started on an Immunity Formula, Alfalfa and Opti-flora.  My life hasn't been the same since.  Within four weeks, all of my allergy symptoms were completely gone!   I didn't think that it was possible!  I was shocked at how quickly my symptoms disappeared and that they disappeared completely!  The allergies literally had taken over my life and now I don't even need to think about them anymore.  I feel so good knowing that my body had some missing links and once I gave my body what it needed, it began to function like it should!

Crohn’s Disease
I suffered with Crohn's Disease for 14 years, taking 40 mg of Prednisone and all 12 Sulfasalazine tabs per day.  After a while, it didn't help at all.  Weighing about 80 to 90 lbs most of the time I became desperate.  I was in bed every day, all day, except to run to the bathroom.  Doctors wanted to do surgery and that would give me about 7 more years. 

A friend of mine introduced me to these products and I tried a program another girl with Crohn’s had been on.  Very simple.  I felt better right away but I was sure I would never be completely well.  But within 3 months I was off of all meds and back at work for a couple of hours per day.  I started to gain weight and color came back in to my face.  My doctor told me to keep doing whatever I was doing because it was working.  I stopped running to the bathroom every 20 minutes all day long.  My energy levels went up and I had a life again.

I stayed in that process and am totally well these days.  I have no symptoms of Crohn's at all.  I used to have to nap 3 times a day.  I am now up at the crack of dawn and go until 11 pm at night.  It’s been 9 years and I love the way I look and feel these days.

ADD & Colon problems:
Our daughter Carly had colon problems.  After starting on the recommended products, her problems were gone in a week and have not returned.  We were so impressed, we started on the ADD program.  Carly’s not hyperactive, but the other end of ADD.  Her focus and attention span increased a lot.  Even her teacher could see a difference.  What a great year we’ve had compared to last.

Life Threatening Reaction to a Tainted Vitamin Supplement:
After starting my personal training business in the late 80’s and competing in the Minnesota State Body Building Competition in the early 90’s, I was constantly being given supplements by friends, trainers, and other business owners who were hoping I would promote their brand for them.  At the time I looked at it as free supplements.  Then in 1995 I suffered a precedent changing anaphylactic reaction to one of these supplements.
Following this life-threatening episode, the protocol for all the ambulances in the Twin Cities was changed requiring them to begin carrying oral antihistamines in addition to the usual epinephrine injections on all the rigs.
It was following this incident that I started researching supplements and as a cardiac nurse, decided to base my choice on the strict criteria you find listed in our workshop packet and on our website. While searching for third party peer reviewed research I was only able to find one company that had their products reviewed by this process.  No other company at that time had a single review…..and this corporation had 92!  I made my choice! 
In March of 2003 the FDA took action to ensure that consumers get the dietary ingredients that are listed on the labels of the supplements they purchase. The FDA is basing their recommended standards on this company’s current manufacturing criteria.  When finalized, the proposed regulations will help protect consumers by eliminating manufacturers that cannot meet high standards for product processing.  Until then, we must continue to evaluate all products ourselves.
Funny coincidence, I ended up back on the same brand that brought me such great health while training for the state competition several years before.  After being reintroduced to the products by Barb and using them for 3 months, I realized I was getting my lean muscle back, my sugar cravings were gone and I wasn't rooting around for jelly beans every night at work.  I was able to concentrate better and the frequent colds and respiratory infections I’d been picking up became a thing of the past.   Up until then I had started to believe that all those symptoms were just part of getting old and being a new mom!

Ear Infections Eliminated in Small Child:
My son, Logan, started getting ear infections at 6 months old.  It seemed like just as one infection cleared up, he would get another one.  Over an eight month period, he had over eight ear infections.  The antibiotics were very hard on his stomach, too, and I dreaded having to give them to him.  My sons’ pediatrician recommended that Logan get tubes put in his ears.  I wasn’t comfortable going in that direction, and started looking for other alternatives.  A speaker spoke at one of my MOPS meetings about health and nutrition and mentioned using a specific acidophilus product that has helped with ear infections.  I have been giving Logan optiflora for over 6 months now, and not only has he had zero ear infections, he hasn’t even had a runny nose throughout this entire cold-and-flu season.  This product is great, and has worked wonders for my son’s health.

Stress Reduction:
Five years ago when I was first diagnosed with rheumatic fever, I was exhausted all the time and the doctor told me I would probably be on bed rest for the first year.  Yeah......I should be so lucky!   I was using a few basic products and it wasn't until I started playing with my dosages and really upping them dramatically that I started getting results.  Especially from the joint pain in my hands and feet.  I had to take 6-GLA/day to really get some relief.  (GLA is expensive....like the stress tabs...so I needed about 2 1/2-3 bottles/month) But boy did I feel it right away if I lowered the dosage to 2 or 3.  I also upped those B's.  I did the 6/day for quite a while just to get feeling better......got me off Zoloft for the depression that came from the pain and being less active.  I don't even remember consciously dropping my dosages....now I only take 2 GLA and 2-4 B's depending on the time of the month.  It's funny how my body will almost crave what it is that I need.  Jim use to really complain about the budget....but then he noticed that he wasn't eating a lot of the crap (especially all his eating out) and snacks which added up pretty quickly.  We still have to watch our expenses....juggle when we order stuff if there are a lot of other expenses....but we have all noticed such a change in our health, both mentally and physically.  Both Jim and Matthew had horrible allergies on nasal spray, inhalers and pills ....now both have been "stuffy-free" for over 2 years.  For me...just being able to teach aerobics classes, move my fingers, run and not have to use my traction unit 2x/day is such a blessing. I I know that we are all experiencing the best health ever because of our investment.

Less Cravings, Mood Swings and Increased Energy
February 2002, I was miserable with the health changes I was experiencing due to menopause.  I was trying many different types of off-brand vitamins and getting no results, which was extremely frustrating.  I had always been a very healthy person and loved life, but felt my world had been turned inside out and I hated it. 
I got started on a nutrition program.  In a matter of 10 days, I felt better - more energy, less frustration and life was not only getting back to normal, but much better.  I have high energy, no sugar cravings, no mood swings and am much more relaxed.  Before starting on these products, I made at least 6 trips to the candy dish every day. I have not raided the candy dish in 6 weeks. These products are fascinating.

Nasal drip
Every winter, whenever I go outside, my nose immediately starts to drip.   It’s a very annoying, constant, watery drip.  I’ve tried a few things to help it, but nothing worked.  I asked Lindsay what I can do to stop the constant drip.  She recommended Alfalfa and an Immunity Formula.  Within a month of taking these supplements I can now go outside in the cold and experience no drippy nose at all!  I felt so self conscious before because of the drip always hanging off of my nose.  Now I feel so free-it's such a great feeling!
